Atlanta Attractions:  Atlanta Zoo
The Atlanta Zoo has come a long way.  The gorilla habitat is great. The pandas get a lot of press but they are pretty boring.  There's an old fashioned merry-go-round and a little train that rides around the perimeter.  Season passes are the way to go if you will visit it more than once a year.
