A good financial planner can make all the
difference. Chris Morris is a certified finanacial planner in
Atlanta who can help you develop a plan and then work the plan.
Chris has been a CFO of some Fortune 500 companies. He knows the
top money managers around the country and knows how to manage large
amounts of money in order to get the highest return with the lowest
possible risk.
Do You Have a Financial
Plan?
A smart financial planner might be
able to free up some money so you can buy a bigger home.
When
was the last time someone took a good look at your total financial
outlook? Not just one small part but how everything fits
together.
1. Insurance
Life: Do you have enough? Will it be
enough to do what you want?
Disability: What would happen to your family if you couldn't work any
more?
Auto: Are you protected as well as you should be?
Liability: What if someone sued you? Are you
covered?
2.
Investments
Are you saving enough for
retirement? Are you diversified? Are you taking more
investment risk than necessary?
3.
Taxes
Are
you missing ways to reduce your taxes? Can you keep more money in your
pocket by restructuring your investments?
Would
you build a home without a set of blue prints? The plumber and
the carpenter and the bricklayer and all the other craftsmen need to be all
working from the same plan in order build a house that fits
together. A good financial
planner is like an architect. They help you see what your
financial house can look like. What features do you want? Everyone
is different. What works for one person isn't necessarily right for
another person. You start with a solid foundation and build from
there. You have your CPA and your stock broker and your insurance person
all working together on the same plan.
There
are many "financial planners" out there but I very few are actually certified
financial planners (CFP) I highly recommend that you talk with
Chris Morrie, president of CMA Financial Services.
Chris is a no nonsense guy who I'm sure you'll feel comfortable with. Give him a
call and set up a free, no obligation
consultation with him. His style is very much like mine, no
pressure, just honest advice.

12-12-3 Buyer Plan.
It's Bold, Decisive and
Provides Clarity. See 12 in 3 hours,
See another 12 homes in
3 hours. Pick your top
three and make 3 offers
at the same time and
let sellers compete for
your business.
Beware of the agent with
all the signs! It can be dangerous
to your wallet Have you ever
driven through a
neighborhood and seen
one agent with most of
the
homesfor sale? Your
first thought might be
that they must know a
lot about the
neighborhood. You might
think it would be a good
thing to deal directly
with that agent if you
decide to buy a home
there.
If you want to get a
good deal, stop! Think
about it for a second.
Why would they want to
negotiate a great deal
for you? It's just
going to bring down the
prices in the
neighborhood and make
their other
homes for sale
look overpriced.
And what if the agent
lives in the
neighborhood? Who
wants prices in their
neighborhood to go down?
Not a listing agent who
wants to develop a
reputation for being
able to get top dollar
for
homes in the
neighborhood. Always
consider the motivations
of everyone involved in
a transaction. You need
to align yourself with
someone who benefits
when you benefit.
A
buyer's agent who cares
about their long term
business wants you
to get the best deal
possible. Why?
When you go to buy a
bigger home in 5 years
wouldn't you call the
agent who helped you get
a great deal on your
current home? It's
just that simple.
